One of the core objectives for this exceptionalities course was to be able to describe the criteria for identification for each of the key disabilities and to be able to recognize key indicators or symptoms for each of the major exceptionalities. To meet this course objective each student created a blog page which specifically outline the following: 1) definition of the category they selected, 2) a list of key indicators for that specific disability, and 3) at least 10 specific accommodations and modifications for supporting a student with this disability in a high school classroom setting.
